TOURNAMENT EXPERIENCE:

THE NFL ALUMNI CELEBRITY GOLF CLASSIC TOURNAMENT’S GOAL IS TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE NFL ALUMNI CHARITY CARING FOR KIDS. THIS TOURNAMENT ALSO GIVES CORPORATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS A CHANCE TO ATTEND A CELEBRITY EVENT BASED IN ATLANTA, GEORGIA.

IN ADDITION, THE CELEBRITY/ATHLETE WILL PLAY FOR A PURSE FOR THEIR OWN FOUNDATIONS. EACH SPONSOR WILL BE PAIRED WITH AN ATHLETE/CELEBRITY FOR A GREAT FEW DAYS OF EVENTS AND GOLF.

NFL Alumni Super Bowl of Golf

The inaugural Super Bowl of Golf was held October 31, 1980. Each year, all winning teams from each Chapter’s qualifying tournament series receive all-expense-paid invitations to the championship playoff, held at a warm-weather resort the following spring. The SBOG dovetails with the NFL Alumni’s Annual Meeting and alternates each year between an East and West coast site. The Super Bowl of Golf winning team receive the coveted Super Bowl of Golf rings based on the Super Bowl rings.

NFL Alumni Celebrity Golf Classic - National Qualifier for the USGC

Where amateurs of all skill levels battle as 2-player teams to be part of Team USA and compete in the International King’s Cup. The King’s Cup is played in honor of golf’s greatest ambassador, Arnold Palmer, whose Honesty, Integrity, Sportsmanship, and Commitment to Excellence represent the ideals for which the game of golf is known. The first step to getting to the 2022 International King’s Cup is playing in a National Qualifier. After advancing through a National Qualifier, you will play at the 2022 USGC King’s Cup National Championship. The ultimate goal is to be part of Team USA’s 2023 King’s Cup Team.

Each team will be paired with an Athlete/Celebrity for great few days of events and golf while raising money for Caring for Kids. The celebrities and athletes will also be playing for a prize purse that provides each player a unique opportunity to raise money for their charity of choice and to have bragging rights to be the champion of the tournament.
